Meet the Speakers – Megan DiGiorgio, MSN, RN, CIC, FAPIC, Sr. Clinical Manager at GOJO

Megan DiGiorgio has worked in infection prevention for more than 15 years. After receiving her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University of Cleveland, Ohio, she began her nursing career as a pediatric nurse, but a love for Infection Prevention (IP) eventually led her to an IP role.

She has served as president of her local Association of Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) chapter, has presented posters and oral abstracts at national conferences, and has been published in infection prevention journals.

Megan began working at GOJO in 2013, and in her current role she leads the clinical team.

Meet the Speakers – James W. Arbogast, Ph.D.
Hygiene Sciences and Public Health Advancements VP at GOJO Industries

Jim Arbogast entered product development after earning his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UCLA. Prior to GOJO, he worked for Clorox and Dial, and has formulated hundreds of consumer products and made many contributions to advancing hygiene science, especially for the PURELL® brand.

Under his leadership, GOJO has conducted numerous field outcome studies with hygiene interventions to determine their real-world effect on hygiene behaviors and health outcomes, including skin condition and infection rates. He has also collaborated with numerous international thought leaders and key public health organizations, including the CDC and the World Health Organization.
